This position is largely remote and will interact with businesses to answer general questions about Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) licensing and guidance through inbound and outbound phone contact or email. Functions include but are not limited to the following:
Answer inbound calls from new and existing businesses with questions about licensing, status of application or account update request(s), missing returns, outstanding liabilities and other general inquiries Reviewing and processing license applications, and documenting resolution as appropriate
Reviewing and processing business account update request forms, and documenting resolution as appropriate *Responding to customer email inquiries and performing light to medium research to provide a resolution in writing or via callback to customer
Reviewing customer inquiries forwarded by other departments for follow-up, and performing light to medium research to provide a resolution in writing or via callback to customer
Consulting with team lead and/or supervisor for guidance with complex inquiries where written procedure/standard work is unclear
Work in-office as business needs dictate to process inbound mail and other paperwork
Skills Required:
Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Google Suite applications such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides
Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
Strong organization and time management skills Effective time management skills
Experience Required:
Any combination that meets the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA); typical ways KSAs are obtained may include but are not limited to a High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Degree (GED), coursework, training, and work experience relevant to the assignment.
Minimum of one year related experience
Call center experience a plus
Experience Preferred
Experience in an IT environment and end-user support role.
Working with Google Suite and Google Email.
Remotely troubleshooting networking, server, and end user desktop incidents.
Experience with incident management and service request processes.
Education Required:
High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Degree (GED)
