Primary Responsibilities
Support the Automated Crime Victim Notification System Project team in leading the technical and functional requirements gathering. Participate in team meetings. Solicit business requirements from end users and convert the requests into a workable solution to present to technology staff. Serve as conduit between agency business units, technical teams and /or vendor companies in answering questions to clarify requirements. Create process flows and business flows by collaborating with the business teams. Provides reference material by writing documentation. Research & evaluate technology to discuss with the technical team and present to the business. Provides support to the project as needed Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. Works with third-party vendors to ensure proper communication & issues are addressed Create Use Cases to support the business needs. Create Test Cases to validate the desired output. Perform User Acceptance testing. Manage application issues, fixes, and enhancements. Responsible for consulting with customers on business needs Prepare and deliver well-organized presentations Provides support to help meet schedule.
Skills Required
3+ years’ experience as a business analysis or a related field Highly organized but willing to adjust direction when necessary Experience writing business & technical requirement documents Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language Strong customer service skills Strong technical Knowledge Excellent problem determination skills Willingness to work in a collaborative environment Proficient knowledge of requirements gathering processes and analysis Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new platforms, evaluate, and test technologies. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to provide clear, effective communication regarding technical issues Time management, attention to detail, expectation setting and organization / coordination skills to provide solid service management Demonstrated ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks
Skills Preferred
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the areas of Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field Experience with Google G Suite Experience in the solicitation and procurement of software solutions Knowledge of the Arizona criminal justice system
Education Required
BA/BS in related field
