This position is responsible for assisting Cyber Command with the implementation of projects and strategies that promote and support the statewide cybersecurity program. The position assists the Statewide Information Security and Privacy Office (SISPO) with attaining the statewide information security goals and objectives set by the State CISO. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to define project goals, manage resources, and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate has excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Experience Required:
Manages multiple medium and large-sized projects, including some complex projects, in support of the Statewide Security Program Facilitates the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements

Manages projects based on repeatable standards and practices where possible, but also may require defining new approaches. Resolves or assists in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas.

Experience Preferred:
3-7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in IT or cybersecurity Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated success.
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Education Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PRINCE2, Six Sigma.
Agile methodology certifications like PMI-ACP for Agile Certified Practitioner or SAFe® Agilist if the company focuses on Agile methodologies.
