Position Description: The Arizona Department of Transportation is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in Phoenix, AZ, with an emphasis on Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, SCCM computer imaging and software deployment, Tanium software deployments, system automation, TCP/IP design, group policies and scripting, and leading IT projects experience to support its Desktop Management team. The Desktop Management team values contributors who are passionate about customer service excellence, efficiency, creativity, and a big picture view of how to solve problems

Bachelor (4 yr) degree, in a technical field, such as engineering or computer science OR equivalent work experience. 

Microsoft Windows operating systems 

SCCM Tanium Lansweeper Building and updating images 

System automation / Scripting TCP/IP design and troubleshooting skills in a large, multi-subnet environment 

Group policies Active Directory Technical documentation Leading IT projects ITIL framework experience 

 

Preferred certifications: MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, VCIX, AWS-CSA Professional, CompTIA Cloud+

 

Education Required: Bachelor (4 yr) degree, in a technical field, such as engineering or computer science OR equivalent work experience.
