Roles & Responsibilities
As an Environmental Engineer in our Groundwater Protection and Reuse Value Stream, you will review complex wastewater treatment plant engineering and design plans through the process of application receipt all the way to issuance of Aquifer Protection Program Permits. Technical expertise in waste water treatment engineering, design and operation will be critical for the selected candidate in addition to customer service, strong organizational skills and project management. The selected candidate will review applicant components to ensure that they are complete both administratively and technically in order to comply with State regulations.

Skills Preferred
Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona Operator Certification(s), Treatment and Collection Systems Managing Projects and or technical experts in engineering, hydrogeology or other environmental specialties
Experience Required - EIT in Arizona at a minimum
Experience Preferred
5+ years in the wastewater treatment processes and direct project management.
Education Required
B.S. and/or M.S. in Engineering with a focus in one or more of the following; Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, other relevant field
